Well, May came and went so quickly that it's hard to remember what I did and when! It kicked off for Lily Mosaics on the 3rd May when I had a stall at the lovely Southwell Minster Handcrafted Gift Fair and it was a glorious sunny day. This is what my stall looked like at the event.
I've added some photos of the workshop birds below. We chatted so much that not all the ladies finished in the class, but they took bags of nuggets home so they could complete their masterpieces in their own homes!
On yet another gloriously sunny weekend in May I exhibited at the Lady Bay Art Trail event in Nottingham. Myself and about 20 other artists completely took over an artist's house in Lady Bay (thanks Sarah!), festooning it with our handmade goodies, and then the house and garden was opened to the public. It was a fabulously busy event, and boy did the Pimms go down well in the heat!
Ooh I love Patchings. It's an intensive 5-day show for us exhibitors, with set up day on the Wednesday and then four days of selling to the general public. We generally had great weather - just the Saturday morning showers let us down, but overall it was fantastic. The Pimms tent ran out of Pimms if that's an indication of how sunny it was, haha! I've posted some photos below of my stall and items for sale.....
Another workshop at my studio in Nuthall last weekend and that nearly brings me up to date! I had my first ever gentleman on a workshop, and a 12 year old boy! And they worked really hard too. Well done all of you! See their finished works of art on the left (some of the ladies had to finish their trays at home!).
Last but not least, I've been working on orders and I've just delivered these two pictured below:-
Hope to see you there!
