For those of you following my rollercoaster ride of 2018, there was another dip in April when I got diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully the removal operation went well in May and I'm currently on a course of radiotherapy. I'm so so lucky not to have needed chemo. So, onwards and upwards.
So now I'm concentrating on selling my house and lovely studio :( so that I can begin the next phase of my life. 2019 will bring me lots of happiness hopefully - I'll be single, healthy and in a new little house.
On the work front I'm afraid it hasn't been as fast paced. Extreme tiredness, stress, whatever, hit in June and July so I've been doing a few little events, but not as many as normal. Sadly I had to cancel my stall at the Patchings Festival in July, the first year I haven't done it in 12 years! But I did pop along as a customer to say Hi to all my lovely stallholder friends.
August brings my daughter's 18th birthday and another Artisan Market at Strelley Hall, which I co-organise. I know it's the holidays but I'm hoping we can get some really great footfall. We had over 950 visitors to our one day Market in April, so here's hoping...
Have a fantastic Summer. Remember to use that suncream!! Lis x
